Race Day Details
The 10th Annual PB&J Run presented by Higginbotham is this Saturday, September 19 at Albert Whitted Park, located at 480 Bayshore Dr SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
5:30am: Race Day Check-In & Registration Opens
7am: 10K start
8:15am: 5K start
9:15am: 1 Mile Lil’ Peanuts Family Fun Run start
7:30am – 10:30am: PB&J Run Post-Race JAMboree with UNLIMITED PB&Js, vendors, music, & more!
Free bag check will be available to runners on race morning at the “Bag Check” tent.
Packet
Pick-Up
All registered participants can pick up their race shirts and packets at Albert Whitted Park, located at 480 Bayshore Dr SE, St. Petersburg, at the following times:
• Friday, September 18, 4pm – 7pm
• Race day morning starting at 5:30am
We will have PB&J Run merchandise, vendors, and live registration in addition to packet pick-ups, so don’t miss the fun!
You must have your registration confirmation emails (printed or on phone) ready to show at packet pick-up for yourself and any additional runners you will be picking up for.
Please be advised: there could be long lines on race morning, so plan to come early if you are not picking up on Friday, so that you aren’t late to the start line.

Arrive early! There are several parking lots & garages in downtown to choose from (see our map here or below, or the City of St. Pete’s parking page for more options). Here are our recommendations:

IMPORTANT: If you arrive after 7am, our 10K has already started and you will need to cross our race course to get to Albert Whitted Park. Please be mindful of runners that are already on the course and do not cross the road until it is completely clear to do so.

NEW 10K COURSE ALERT! This year, we’re taking the PB&J Run 10K farther along the waterfront and onto Coffee Pot Boulevard for even MORE stunning bay views, St. Pete scenery, and iconic neighborhoods. We think you will love it! The certified course includes a stretch of historic brick road for a little extra St. Pete character – so watch your footing, or hop onto the sidewalk alongside it if you prefer.
PB&J Run Pacers
Pacers are back for the PB&J Run! Whether you’re chasing a PR, trying to hit a specific finish time, or just want some extra motivation along the way, our pacers are here to help! Pacers run at a steady, consistent pace and help you stay on track from start to finish.
Before each race, find your pacer on the right side (water side) of the start line. They’ll be easy to spot in their bright yellow pinnies and holding tall pace signs.
5K Pace Groups:

Race Photos
Joe Photo Tampa will be back this year taking photos at the park and on the course with their click & share face recognition technology! If you would like, you can enter your phone number when your photo is taken by the Joe Photo Tampa photographers and you will receive photos of yourself directly on your cell phone throughout the event. Event photos are sponsored by Team Borham with EXP Realty. We will also have a fun photo backdrop and props that are free to use for all participants. All race photos from the park, course, and photo booth will be available by October 3rd at this link.
Merch & Vendors
Signature PB&J Run merchandise will be on sale at packet pick-up and on race day. We will also have 17 other vendors promoting great deals and cool promotions for our athletes at the PB&J Run Post-Race JAMboree, as well. If any of the above options interest you, remember to bring cash/card down to the park with you!
Of course, most of the fun perks are completely free with registration – there will be vendors giving away fun swag and prizes, fun photo opportunities, a DJ booth with great music, and of course UNLIMITED peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.
Awards
Our 2026 Awards are presented by First Responders Matter. Prizes are generously provided by Feet First, St. Pete Running Company, Clearwater Sports Massage, and Stretch Zone.
Overall and age-group winners in both the 5K and 10K will take home a PB&J Run winner’s certificate, along with a prize pack of gift certificates and goodies from our amazing local running and wellness sponsors.

The top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K will receive a PB&J Run winner’s certificate, plus:

Age Group Splits: 14 & under, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, and 80+
*NOTE for 15k Challenge: There are no separate awards for the 15K Challenge, but Challenge participants are eligible to win awards in both the 5K and 10K categories!
*NOTE for 1 Mile Lil Peanuts Family Fun Run: There are no awards or prizes for this event, as it is a fun run designed simply to get our littlest runners moving, smiling, and having fun!
10K awards can be picked up from our Race Awards tent beginning at 8:30am and 5K awards can be picked up beginning at 9:15am. The PB&J Run is proud to provide custom certificates for all overall and age group awards, but this is a manual process which includes writing in specific names and scores, after our timing company has generated the reports on race morning, and is facilitated by volunteers generously donating their time. There may be a short wait – feel free to enjoy the music, vendors, and unlimited PB&Js while your award is being prepared! If you would prefer not to wait, you can email us after the race at [email protected] and we can coordinate mailing you your certificate instead.
